Hi wizz,

i´m sorry we can't really help you! Both Skis are really good, but you 'll have to try which one YOU like best! None of us will be able to tell you the brand or exact type of ski that will fit, we just could try to find out which class of skis could fit.
The rest depends on your personal style and "feeling".
the SX9 (last season) was a really good ski, but I just didn´t like it.
What's your prefered Style: short or long radius, on or off "road"

regards

Christian

Hi wizz,

as "fuchs755" writes; both ski are good ski and are ok for your heigth and weight.
Some like Atomic, some prefer Head; that belongs to your personal style of skiing.
I didn´t ride both of them, but I have always been satisfied with other ski by Head ... so ... take the Head! :D

As I didn' really like the Atomic, i agree with Uwe :-)
Length and type of Ski should be O.K., as Uwe said.

Whizz,
beware 2004/2005 SX:9 is quite different from last seasons one. It's more or less a C9pulse with similar sidecut but harder flex. Thus leading to a different torsional rigidity.
Last years SX:9 is SX:10 in 04/05. Btw, perhaps 160cm fits more to your length and weight for both and other brands.

Udo

THX men, i know that is realy difficult to help me

So, Iam happy, that you prefer Head, because, it has better binding (SLD 11 RAILFLEX vs. device 3.1 on the atomic) (am I true?), and its more agressive (am I true? ).

About the lenght, I think that 170cm is better, because Iam 17 years old and maybe i will be little bit highter next season :-D (i must have about 2-3 years)

so, THX, you can answer my opinions,... Or you can tell me about better skis on a same prize for me :))

Hi,

my device 3.11 had several failures, now i´m driving a Fischer FS11 (simular to Tyrolliar SL?11) which seems to work better, so you could be right. I thing the Head is a class obove the SX9 (which is last seasons SX7) so the ski might be better to improve your skills.
Agressive?
I don't think this is a "must have" feature. The most important thing is that you controll the ski and not vise versa. I'm quite sure you can drive it agressive if you like, but I hope You don't when I' next to you :-)

The length is not dependant on Your height, it just depends on the intended purpose. 1,60 ist a little easier to turn, 1,70 is slighly better in the powder. Besides it depends on Your style, prefered speed and turn radius.
Another quite nice Ski should be the Fischer RX8, but i dont know if its in Your price limit. How much do you intend to spend?
